How do you remove the piece of trim around the parking brake lever. I was installing my new short shifter kit and lost two nuts. Am i better off just going to a hardware store and buying two new ones?\

*Edit* Never mind, just bought new ones.

 

you could have just pulled the shifter back out to reach them, or didnt they get caught in that plastic tray ?

 

Nope, the fell behind the shifter housing. I went to the hardware store and bought two new ones for 84 cents. Short shifter is in and i love the throws. Neutral can be a bit picky at times but well worth it.
