It may be a little late, but check Consumer Reports. The 2001 is better off than the 2002. 2001 was the last year for the B5 style and 2002 was the first year for the B6 style. All the bugs were worked out by the end of the B5 model life and the B6 had brand new bugs. If you really like the B6 style, look for a 2003.

Meh, the 02's dont have many bugs... though my dads went through a bunch of signal bulbs in a matter if a couple days. All is good again though.

And 01's were not cured of the classic B5 problems...

I know what you were trying to say there, because often the last year of a generation is good, and the first year of a generation can be bad... but this just doesnt seem to apply to the b5 and b6 transition.

lol its not a girl thing - im a girl and i wont drive a car that DOESNT have black interior. i just bought an 05 white on black leather a4 ultra sport and it just looks 10x better than a light interior...that can get dirty really easily. the black makes it look sharp and sexy. =)

That's really funny... all the dealers are asking what color I want, and my answer is "any color but white"
