I have a 2000 2.7t. When I was looking for an A6 a couple months ago I noticed that all of them were either all black or all tan inside. Low and behold the one I finally end up buying is both. At first I really didn't care for it, but it didn't take long to grow on me and now I wouldn't trade it for any color. My question is this how common is this black/tan interior? Maybe it is common and it just so happened it was the only one I crossed paths with.

i have the same interior on a '99 2.8. I like it as well but i would like to change some to black such as the headliner, pillars, and rear deck lid. i think it kinda looks goofy with my tint sometimes.

 

IM SO JEALOUS OF YOU!!! That interior is what made me love this car in the first place. I know someone who has a 99' 2.8 who treats theirs immaculately and since I first saw his i just loved it. I wanted it soo bad, but I had to sacrifice it for a more reliable car. It was impossible to get the right milage, exterior color, interior color, location, good condition and price. [:@] The interior is somewhat rare. If it wasn't I would have it as well!! There is also another interior combo but with blue.

Thanks for the info.....I wonder if the navy/vanilla only came in blue cars? I think the onyx/vanilla interior I have would only look good on a black car, which is what I have. But I don't know what the color options were, if you could buy a green car with onyx/vanilla interior. IMHO I don't think it would be real attractive.

 

i didnt know that it was a rare interior i guess i never really seen many audis with it though
