hey ur that one vette guy. yes there is. i guess in chevy terms it's like a vette vs. s/c cobalt. and quattro hurts the amount of hp put to the wheels but increases the amount of traction. ur definition of performance is how fast a car can go in a straight line. but to some people performance is the overall way a car drives.

theres a big power diffrence between the 1.8 and the 3.0. The 1.8 is favored on the forum because it can be moded easier and made faster, with the 3.0 your stuck with more basic mods.

a chipped 1.8 will be able to beat a 3.0, if your looking for what car is quicker, the 1.8 has unlimited possibilities while the 3.0 you can basically only get a sc.
for a stock car, the 3.0 is faster.
for a stock car, the 3.0 is faster.
