I have a bone stock 2000 a4 1.8t. I am getting the borla quattro exhaust in about a week and then the GIAC flash about 2 days after. What can I expect in HP gain and what would my total HP be around?

 

remember " quarto = 4x4 " so I doubt you will get any performance attributes with this install

 

he won't gain anything from the exhaust install? the chip will give you 30-40 and I thought the exhaust would give 10-12 but I may be wrong. if you're pre 2001 you're looking at around 200 hp.

 

at the wheel maybe 158 hp and 197-203 ft/lb

 

exhaust will be a waste of time because its 4x4 related

 

really? explain. if you have quattro its pointless to put on a high flow exhaust? why?

the exhaust will give you better flow = slightly more hp.

Not huge, more important if you have big turbo.

Dave, I guess you mean that the difference will not be noticable, but it is still a slight improvement of hp at the crank.
