I bought an '03 Audi A4, with 67,000 miles
Pro. You will have more hp.(around 200ish)...and alot more tq)
Con. Your turbo will be working at about 2-300% more than stock.(not that it wont last. many people have been chipped forever and have had zero issues)
Dont listen to the guys that jump the gun and change the timing belt at close to 70k miles. You should be okay for another 30k miles, and then I would change it.

wicked, thanks guys!
i'm pretty excited about the car, so much information on this forum, you guys are awesome.
i guess being chipped would be quite a bit more work on the engine hey.
i wonder if i should do it. there's an audi/vw shop here in calgary called tune dub, i'm going to read as much as i can about people's experiences with the car chipped before i actually do it, but yeah! i'll def. let you guys know when i pick it up.

Good it came from Cali. You wouldn't have to worry about parts possibly corroded from salt and sand. I hope it drives as good as it looks. Wow! $9,900 CDN dollars waht a steal considering currency exchange is about the same as US nowadays. I got mine w/ 63k miles at whopping $16k 6 mos ago, now has 70k miles on it...you're lucky...
