Sounds like a really good deal. The car looks like it came from Cali, no?

I agree - sounds like a hell of a deal if everything is in good shape. Keep in mind that if it hasn't been done yet, the timing belt service is coming up soon (the big one in terms of periodic maintenance). Mod-wise, check out the FAQ section of the forum and also the sticky at the top of the A4 forum, for new owners - it'll detail everything for you. Nice buy, car looks great

here's a really good reference on canadians buying us cars off ebay.
there's buyer protection and everything on cars and it's timely to find a good deal, this took forever to find, and it was the best deal in my price range.

so any idea how many HP this car has stock? cause i'm getting it stock still.

yeah it's in cali, it'll be a good drivce back to, maybe take the coastal highway

Pro. You will have more hp.(around 200ish)...and alot more tq)
Con. Your turbo will be working at about 2-300% more than stock.(not that it wont last. many people have been chipped forever and have had zero issues)

Dont listen to the guys that jump the gun and change the timing belt at close to 70k miles. You should be okay for another 30k miles, and then I would change it.
