I got a Sub and amp (I have pics of it)
Heh, yeah. I used to think I'd never be able to own a car without a system in it. I was never much for SPL, but I did enjoy my loud music. Nowadays I'm just happy with loud midrange and that's it.
I remember bouncing quarters on the roof of my jeep when I had my shiva and 13w7. High school was good times, haha.

Haha yeah I've never ever cared about SPL... my single 10W7 in its HO box does everything I could ever ask... I want to build an SQ car... but I don't have the money. The focals are a step in the right direction... but I would need custom kickpanels and some 6.5" drivers... and god knows what else. Mid-bass is hard to get in our cars!
My rear stage is stock... doubt if that'll change. I have thought about sealing two 8" woofers in the rear shelf... and getting a 3rd bloody amp... but I don't know if I will ever get around to trying that.

Ugh, midbass is such a pain in the @zz I'd never bother. Components and a sub are all I require for optimum SQ. When I have front components with an amp, I only turn the rears on when I have passengers who want SPL, or passengers in the back that want tunes.

Yeah I have no personal experience with kicker... I hear good things though. But yeah... going 4 chan and getting real power to the speakers is a good way to start. If you still aren't happy... adding a 200~ watt sub amp and sub is easily done. I know I personally couldn't be happy without a sub... but I am sure most people could.
I have an alpine MRV-540 lying around... collecting dust actually... I was considering throwing it into my dads b6... and seeing what those symphony speakers can do with 80 watts RMS a piece. :P

Since I know nothing of car audio.... Your saying if I got some kinda amp to bump up the wattage of my stock bose system, it would sound better/louder??
Yeah, I would buy a 5 chan amp though... I swear 5 chan amps are great. Some aren't worth the $, but some are... and if you want to add a sub, its easy as pie down the road.
But yes... you would at least double your power with a new amp.

Ok, thats good to hear.
Any suggestions on a Good Decent Not Expensive Amp? Also, one that I could add a sub to later on?
Oh and How hard would it be to install it myself??
No idea about the amp... I never researched 5 chans before. www.onlinecarstereo.com has deals on stuff.
When people ask about instaling themselves... I feel best telling them to get it installed somewhere professionally. One of those.. "if you have to ask" sort of things... electrical fires are bad! haha no seriously though... it wouldn't cost much to have it done.
