i hate nyc streets tranny question
ok so heres the deal. the other day im driving down hillside ave a four lane street in queens.ny at like 2 am. im all into a conversation with the passenger in my car when the road surface is flat as board. all of a sudden a huge dip on the road right in front of me i let go of da gas and not brake trying to not add more weight to the front of the car when boom the dam car bottoms out. i go to lift it today and the transmission case has a dent on the right front corner and its cracked a little bit. im so dam frustrated because i know how delicate these things are. yes fluid is leaking a lil bit. does anyone have any suggestions.

I don't know a ton about trannys, but go get that fixed RIGHT, don't try to use any kind of sealer, crack filler to fix the leak. Half A$$ fix it and you will pay for it later. I personally would take it to a mechanic. Maybe someone else would have ideas on fixing it yourself.
Take it to like lee myles or amoco tansmissions they know there stuff... if u take it to a private mechanic half the time they dont know what they are doing and cause even more problems...and charge alot...
Take it to a German repair place that knows we use special transmission fluid like:
