i installed springs

wait, has anyone installed springs themselves? it was the biggest pain in the ***. i took a shortcut so i didnt have to get the wheels alligned.

hey, ive had eibach springs on my stock NON SPORT shocks for a while with no problems, i dont see why people think its such an issue...

the issue isnt with the ride being lower, its with the shock not being able to controll a spring with a higher spring rate..

the only problem i have is a noise because the strut apparently wasnt screwed all the way to the plate at the top :-\

i didnt take the rotor or caliper off. i kinda forced the strut out.

ooh ok, thats what i did when i did my control arms. if you disconect the sway bar the suspension can be pushed down enough to slide the shocks and springs out. correct??

this makes me angry because i just spent quite a bit of money on shocks for my h&r springs[:@]

it depends on everything, you do it right the first time you dont have to worry about anything busting in the future, or you can do it the cheap way and cross your fingers

(sandman) i didnt disconnect the sway bar, i just the bolts off the strut/spring and just stepped down on the caliper/rotor giving the shocks enough room to pull out. it was hell though
