I need a big star or torx bit to remove the steering wheel so I can replace my headlight combination switch, does anyone know what size it is for a 98.5?? I think I can use a t60 torx bit, the audiworld tech article i looked at said a torx bit will work just fine in place of the star bit.

You need a set of "triple stars" aka "internal wrenches" Call a few auto shops beforehand since there a rarity. The one I used to replace my steering wheel was a M12.

Every wheel ive had off is an m12 tripple square. Itll be hard to find but i would wait till you get it. You can order it off the net if you have to. If you use the torx and strip that out your gonna have a real hard timing getting it off. Its on there really tight. I use an 18 inch 1/2 inch wrench to get it loose.
