Rev the engine with the cap off, it might take a while to get all the air out, hot air coming out of the cap when removing it is normal because its under pressure.

What the hell are you talking about? Was that your original complaint?

Im saying that it improved enough so that there is heat in the car, I originally changed the thermostat... because there was no heat and when I had put coolant in and it was burping out air there still wasnt any heat coming out inside the car and now there is... going back out now to try to get the rest of the air out...

same stuff again it was a little low when i went in the garage so i filled it back to the top and reved the engine a little bit a bubble here and there came out so I put the cap on and went for a ride and I thought it was fine and then it slowly started creaping back up so went back to the garage and took the cap off and shut the car off and the resivor started to over flow so I put the cap back on so it wouldnt leak out and came back up so the car can cool off.... I dunno I was in a motorcycle accident about 4 months ago and fucked my back arm and leg up and Im getting sore... so I hope all the damn air gets out of the system so I can peep out the couch for the night!

wait what started to slowly creep back up? the temp guage? is that jsut your way of saying your ar is warming up to normal temp? or are you saying it's overheating? what do you keep adding in each time you top it off? i would take care of it tmorrow. and check that the thermostat is not leaking.

the temp was creeping up about normal towards overheating... im adding coolant.. Im hoping air is coming out of the system and thats why im needing to add coolant and I just replaced the thermostat so it better not be leaking.... how much coolant does the system hold?
