I need help with boost controller..

I have an 98 A4 1.8t and i have recently put on a manual boost controller. When running 3/4 of the full boost, at around half throttle and about 3,000 rpms my car seems to just choke out as if it isn't getting enough full or spark. I was wondering if anyone has tried this before and what their luck with doing this was. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas and could help me out with it. I have checked all of the vacuum lines and they are all in good shape. Does any one have any suggestions or comments?

What kind of mbc? Sounds like you are getting throtle cut or limp mode. How much boost are you running? Any mods done to the car other than a mbc? MORE DETAILS!
