I have a 2000 A4 T. Qauttro I need an aftermarket Head Unit cause the one I have been giving problem since I bought the car & I'm ready to throw it in the trash for real so please yall can u guys help with website I can get a good aftermarket HU for my car. Ex antenna probl, which will cost money I don't have.

Thank yall please I know a few of yall have aftermarket HU so help.

 

Crutchfield.com is about the best place to buy from if they have a kit for your car. If they do in fact have the kit you will get everything that you need to install the radio and free shipping. Most websites are cheaper, but crutchfield becomes cheaper with the free shipping and kit. They have a good selection and are reliable. If you want something cheap and dont need any outputs get the cheapest alpine. It is nice for the price... around 130 or so. The next one up may include mp3 play back for like 20 more bucks. worth is if you can burn mp3 cds. I have many more suggestions but sounds like you are on a limited budget. So that IMO is your best choice.

 

Hey I was thinking about an Audi Head unit or an aftermarket radio.

 

An Alpine HU is aftermarket. It will be way cheaper and better than a stock audi unit. The stocker will jsut have a better fit and finish. If you wanted to dish out some cash and take some time I would say retrofit a RNS-E (stock audi navigation aka nav-plus)

Cructhfield will have tons of aftermarket HU's just see if they have a kit to fit it in your dash and utilize your stock wire harnesses instead of cutting and splicing your original. sometime you need a antenna adapter also. The cructhfield kits (if they have them for the audi) come with directions.

 

I agree with parks853 just get an Alpine any one of them will be better than what you have now... I have many alpines and all are sweet..
