it can still get to the top part of the threads on the threads plus when you remove the plug it will move oil down onto the threads if its at the top.

 

ill tell u wat i saw..i took off the cover off the engine. then i unscrewed the first spark plug wire connector thing the one closet to you if your standing in front of the car. i pull the spark plug out and i saw oil on that and i look down inside and i see oil on top of the spark plug. like not the thing but if u look down and shake the car u can see the oil move around. i hope this helps

 

I just recently change my spark plugs, due to the engine misfiring...well i had the same problem with the oil around the spark plug, this is because you need a new head gasket...simple fix..hope this helps....gasket around $20 - $30

oh ok cool. another question..where else can i get those spark plug wire things. do i have to get the whole set, or can i just get one part. just the part that connects with the spark plug not the wire

 

you can pick one up at a parts store or online at like esc or something like that
