Here's the problem, my Audi has two CEL, code p0421 and p0431, and it failed the smog test obviously.

both have to do with the warm up threshold on the cat
so its either the cat, the 02 sensor, or the maf

 

I know what the problems is, the problem is that I can not afford to spend over 3000 to replace both cats....

dont freak out... get your codes erased then go back to get it tested... itll pass

you dont have to replace the cats just live with the problem, it wont affect the cars performance
