I remember Driving very fast once, i got caught and had a class C misdemenor (on top of 2 other tickets) . 176$ fine + 10 days of comm. service and 1 year probation (and some lawyer fees).

I'm not going to lie, I've done, do, and will do plenty of street runs. I've had my A4 to 130MPH on the highway (Just topping it out, not racing anyone), I've run so many people in the Laser, I cannot keep track of it, and of course, me driving Hondas, I get tempted to race all the time...

I am not downing people for street racing, I am downing people for racing at the wrong places, at the wrong time. 5:00pm rush hour traffic on Market Street is a BAD TIME/PLACE to race, although I've seen plenty of people do it. Backroad racing at 2:00am, that's fine, just keep an eye open for animals in the road, or cops.

All I'm saying is please be smart guys, none of us want to read about losing a fellow Audi Forums member (Or anyone else!) due to street racing.

Yeah I agree with smart street racing, or topping out your car, I mean I did it this weekend on the highway. But puting someones life in danger in a populated area isnt just stupid, its sad to think that someone would risk someones life for a little fun.

When you race, you race on a freeway or highyway late at night. Only if the conditions are safe.
You stop racing and back off as soon as you see other cars or other potential dangers.
You use common sense!! Stop when you've reached your own personal limits

IMO, if there are pedestrians out after 12.00am in the middle of a freeway, then they really deserve to get hit, hehe (jk)

Some you guys need to relax. Everyone street races, everyone knows the risk. Its obvisous you need to do in a safe place, and under the right conditions. Some you sound like his mother.



Ive had my A4 to 155mph, on a perfectly empty road. Im not endangering the lives of anyone else, its my choice.
