I am having alot of problems with my car idling rough. At idle it jumps up and down and at other times it will be alright. Its weird, because when I put my A/C or heat on it rarely ever jumps idle. Anyone else ever have this problem. I changed the coildpacks on it thinkining it would be those packs but it isn't. Anyone else have any ideas? It would be greatly appreciated.

 

basically its a load system relay ( when the aircon is on it ups the revs ) to compensate for engine electrical load so your problem is with normal idle and could be as simple as cleaning the throttle body out or a split vacuum pipe

 

Agree, could be vacuum leak, misfire, bad plugs or idle speed sensor or dirty throttle body. scan for codes.

 

If I scan for codes that will come up?

 

if you scan for codes you will get a bunch of numbers the you search for those numbers and you will know whats wrong

 

How do I scan for the codes? I know nothing about newer cars with problems like this.
