(Idle problem) ?Oxygen sensor?
Hey guys, I got a quick question for you all.
I just recently discovered an Idling problem. I was told that after my exhaust one of my sensors was rusted up and needed to be replaced. After they had installed the exhaust they forgot to drill a hole on the top to put the oxygen sensor in. This is why I think my idle problem is most likely that. Anyways, I was looking on the net to find some cheap prices and notice that a universal (sensor without plug) was a quarter the price then one direct sensor (one with plug). The sensor that is messed up is the (facing from the back of the car) right side pipe, close to the converter. I dunno if I should get the direct sensor with the plug or just a normal universal (made for certain cars) with the 4wire sensor. Also if the plug one is much better to get, what side is that considered? (right side, just behind the converter, facing from the back of the car).
Thanks everyone;

Stop it, never throw parts at your car, thats what we call parts changers.
Get the fault codes read first before doing anything, just because the sensor is rusted doesn't mean its bad.

Well I know it has to be that, the car stars up fine in the cold since the oxygen sensor doesn't do much when the engine is cold, then after driving a while the car shakes and idles pretty bad. So I just bought a universal 4-wire bosch oxygen sensor and will try that out once it comes in.
