How many RPM's do u guys usually idle at. I started up my car this morning and it seemed to be idling high like at 1000 rpms?

it's normal on startup as long as it goes away

normally idle should be around 700 rpm. 1000 is kinda high but it should droped once the car is warm.

its electronic when the temp is low enough, it enriches the mixture, thus raising the idle. It basically makes your car warm up faster. Think electronic choke.

ok i had just never had it idle that high before, but it went down after a little bit
