ignitor chip question

trying to figure out where it is on my 01 a4 1.8t it looks like this but i know the audi world doesnt call it this

here is the part number off of it

4d0 905 351

the parts place said something like a power invertor or somethin along those lines. not thats what im lookin for

Not sure exactly my parts cataloge says it is built in around the coil packs.

on a 97 its in the airbox...

i found out what it was. i guess when getting chips installed sometimes the ecu just dies so now im gettin it re chipped

Well glad you figured out what the problem was. that's not the first time i've heard of them dying like that.
