if your getting a gt3071r then there is no point in getting a chip cuz your just gona have to get new programming for the new turbo. and there's lots of other stuff involved in getting a gt3071 scat rods, bigger injectors, exhaust manifold, intake, test pipe, etc...

oh and yeah a level 10 tranny. and yes they can handle pretty much anything. why dump all this money into a tip? a gt3071r setup and level 10 tranny is gona set you back thousands upon thousands

it can with the right supporting mods with it. if you use the search to find all the mods you need but here is my two cents for ya:

along with the chip and dv you'll need a full turbo back exhaust system, some kind of intake, front mount intercooler, and bigger fuel injectors to support that turbo. im sure searching would help ya find a couple more things you need as well, but that is the minimum right there.

welcome to the forums and congrats on the purchase.

Just chip, exhaust, and suspension your tip and enjoy it. Next car go manual and put a BT on it. BT on a tip is a constant migraine waiting to happen.

its a 99 in perfect, absolutely perfect condition.... the paint has a few scratches on the outside but i could care less about that. 76,000 miles on it, and they offered to do the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and all that stuff right there for $500 whenever i want it done which will probably be in a week or two. The engine is soundless, the carfax was clean. I payed 7950 and this was from a dealer. Right now - i'm pretty sure i made off with a steal with that price. Do you guys think I could sell it for more? I would love to get a standard, absolutely adore it but with the bargain i got with this car and the $500 tb deal in the contract (yes audi certified) i didn't think i could pass it up
