I'm planning on doing my Timing Belt

+1 for ecs tuning. Also if you use the timimg belt guide, take your own pics of where all the belts go before you take them off, can be a bit confusing if you didn't take note of where they all go.

I have a 1996 2.8 fwd. what type of seal is are the cam and crank seals?? guess I'm gonna have to buy those too. i have the roller, tensioner, timing belt, water pump and serp belt and tens. all I'm lacking are the seals??? or can I reuse?

I got the kit from ECS tuning. Changing the timing belt on a 2.8 can be a PITA. I don't suggest doing it without the cam lock and crankshaft lock tools. Goodluck.

I wouldn't do the cam seals and crank seals unles they are leaking and need replaced. Granted, this would be the best time to do it, but if they are not leaking, its a lot of extra work.

ok, I just didn't know if I would have to take them out to do the job. gonna borrow the lock tools and a bentley pub manual from a friend. I know I can do the job, just haven't looked in the book to see what all I have to remove yet. gonna take the front clip and radiator out for sure though.
