Im soo confused (Bulb Question)
Hello. I am back once more with questions. If you have not seen my past thread, I have major electrical problems involving the lights. When I depress the brake pedal, the front parking lights go on as well. Also, the third brake light (top) thinks that its a taillight once the lights are turned on. With the info I have gathered, I came to the conclusion that it is the brake light switch. Today, though, I found an old thread in which someone's problems were the bulbs. Can someone please inform me if the bulbs are all the same in the back? Are the rear foglight bulbs supposed to be a different type from the others? Anyone have additional advice? Thanks!
first of all what is a front parking light? and i believe one of the rear bulbs are 2 filament. and ur third brake light's wire is probably touching one of the wires that goes to the headlights. ya u have a weird electrical problem at ur hands. i luv wires but then i hate wires.
By front parking lights I meant the corner lights.. Sorry. Do you know where the wires are by any chance and how to uncover them ? Thanks.

corner lights as in turn signal light? and no im not sure where the wires are sry. im not very good with electrical stuff. you could probably try to see if u can trace them from the light. also get a volt meter so u can test the wires

i kno what u mean but being 16 and owning an audi is very good man. i think the tail wires goes under the side trim on the floor by the door. or it might go on the trim by the door by the roof. check the floor first as it's easier to remove the trim
Yes it does. When I pull the brake light fuse, this does not occur anymore though.

That could be anything, does it do this when the key is out of the ignition?

you got some wires crossed up somewhere. wherever you bring it, all the professional can do is get a volt meter and try to follow the wires from the switch on your brake pedal to the lights. somwhere between that switch and the lights, something is messed up. more than likely there is a big wiring harness for all of the lighting somwhere....my guess is that is where you'll find your problem. the hard part is gonna be tracking down that harness, but once you do, you can find out which wires go to your parking lights, and which ones go to your break lights, and work from there. either way, there is no easy answer. but paying someone is gonna be costly cuz chasing wires around takes FOREVER.
