Default indicators and bodwork

Hi all, just 2 quick questions.

My indicators don't work (and yet my hazards do) and the part I need to replace can't currently be bought in this country - so says my mechanic. I was thinking about trying to order it off ebay but I don't know the right word for it. Anyone help?

The other one is about the bodywork. An old sticker came off the boot and has left an ugly ring and glue patches. I tried using hot soapy water but it won't shift it. And I don't want to use anything too strong in case it scratches the paintwork. any suggestions?

if hazards work then its not the relay so check the fuses and ground wires

thanks dave. that's what I'll do. I did wonder why the hazards still worked.

funny enough, the indicators do work if I hold them down just a little bit without making full contact, but it makes turning corners quite tricky when only one hand is on the wheel and the other is exerting just the right pressure.

cannot bring myself to stick hand out of window.
