what would be the best dv valve and air induction system for an 01 1.8t?

i havent installed it yet i just have it so it will force me to chip my car

It won't really make any performance difference, but a decent dv will stop boost spikes, especially if you chip it. You'll get a much betetr regulated boost level.

Well as the turbo is right next to the airbox location, if you go cone filter route, you could have some problems due to hot air getting in, instead of colder air. Get a cold air feed, or reposition the filter to a better location. I'm just gonna K&N panle filter it, straight in the stock airbox, and may look into the airbox modification. Cone filters are a bit overated in my opinion...

I noticed a suprising diff after adding a k & n panel and doing the airbox mod.
