Yeah I don't think that you would even notice 20% faster. The GIAC one reduces from 1 sec. to .2 sec, thats 80% faster. So I am not so sure the 20% is worth the 200 they are selling it for.

Yup, my thoughts exectly. I think I am going to get the GIAC chip in a while. However, If i can get the tip chip for free then I am going to do it. I am going to call them tomorrow and talk to them about getting the tuning chip for free if i run a before and after dyno test. Anyone know how much those are to do? On average? Just wondering.

I have a manual tranny so all I will be getting is the engine chip.

Dynos in and around chicago cost around $75 to $100 for three pulls.

Hmm... I need to call around here and find out how much they are. Depending on the price It might be cheaper to actually buy the chip!

I would say you should call Inmotion before deciding whether buying the chip is cheaper or dynoing is cheaper. He was giving me extra incentives that that made the dyno option far cheaper and a better cost effective decision. Like I said I will be purchasing his chip after talking to him but do not want to push my car to it's limits on a dyno 6 times (with 110,000 miles)without the motor being built first. Talk to Inmotion and tell him you are from Audiforums and are interested in doing the dyno runs and datalogging to be posted for a free chip and see what all he offers you.

Ok, I have tried calling them a few times already today and no one answers. How many times did you have to try to call before they answered?

Customer service is key.... Maybe that says something. Unless, are they there on Mondays?

Ok, they just called me back. They had a bunch of calls that they had to asnwer from over the weekend. James was very helpful and ansered all of my questions. No all I need to do is find out what type of Dyno the Dyno center here in town is using. He will only do the free tune if they are using a Dyno Jet with EddieCurrent system. *Crosses Fingers*

I just called the dyno center and they ARE running the DynoJet however they do not have the EddieCurrent System. I will let you guys know what happens when InMotion calls me back about it.
