Hello,

Call me old fashioned but I usually call a company I am considering doing business with, ask questions and ask them for references. We sell great tunings at great prices, no Huge marketing campaign, hype and razzle dazzle. We prefer a grass roots approach, relying on word of mouth to sell out product instead of brand loyalty. We offer a dyno challenge to any customer with a bone stock Audi in perfect running condition...

Take it to a Dynojet facility and run 2-3 baseline pulls
Send us your ECU for programming to your specifications / fuel octane
Run a min. of one tank of fuel through your vehicle before re-dyno
Make sure diverter valve is at least the TT Bosch and check MAF with Vag-Com
Run 2-3 "chipped" dyno pulls and post results

Of course there is no charge for the Tuning. Please email or call 503-608-7717 this post will not be monitored.

Thank you
INMotion Tuning

I just got off the phone with Inmotion And will be finding some dyno time as soon as possible. I can tell by his insentive to be sure everything is on the up and up that this is good software and after I get the dynos and grafts from the vag to prove it you will all be able to see this as well. Quit talking ****.

This all sounds interesting. Their company feedback on ebay is 100%. I am really seriously thinking about doing this. The only problem is that I can't wait more than a day or two without my car. I need to wait for my next pay check as well. I will keep you all updated on what i end up doing.

Hey everyone, so I have been e-mailing the InMotion Tuning Guys with a couple questions. Here is all of their e-mails and mine. Sounds all lagit to me. What do you all think?

Hey,
I am interested in getting your ecu chip. I have a 1999 Audi A4 1.8T quattro with trip-tronic tranny. Am I able to use the OBD flash for this? And if not, how long will it take to send it in and get it back? Please LMK ASAP!!! THANKS

Josh

p.S. How are you guys able to sell this chip for so much less then APR or GIAC and still be able to get the same HP gains? Just wondering.

Josh, Your 1999 ECU must be mailed in for programming. If you mail it out on Mon. We with tune and return it on Tue. and you get it back on Wed. We also have the "tip chip" avail for an additional $200.00 when you order your Engine tuning. We are a small company, we do not spend 100's of thousands of dollars per year on marketing campaigns. We do great tunings for a price that is fair, we believe this is the key to a successful business. James

Ok, cool, I still have a few questions. 1. How are you able to sell these chips that claim the same amount of HP gain as lets say APR or GIAC and still sell it for 1/2 the price? 2. Will my car still pass emissions? 3. With the tip-chip do i have to send in my TCU? And what is the shift time on it? Thanks Josh

Josh, In Europe tuners share information with each other, this allows the customer to get the best possible software for fair prices. Here in the states it is much different.Only a handfull of companies are selling overpriced tunings, creating the illusion that a "quality" tuning "should" demand a high price. All of our tunings are TUV approved, which is a much higher standard than the USA. Yes you must ship your TCU to get the "tip Chip", the shift time is reduced by 20%. James

I say do it, I am planning on running this chip and talked with him about getting a free tune by doing before and after dynos but I decided I don't want to put my 110,000 mile car on a dyno for 6 runs so I will just pay for it soon. He was very sure and reassuring that anyone would be happy with the results and was wanting someone to post the before and after dynos and all datalogging done after for a free tune.

Hey tractioncontrol, are you going to get there tip chip too? I wasn't even aware they had a tiping chip availible. Btu it only reduces 20%? Isn't the GIAC tip chip faster than that?
