Inmotion chip
so im confused after searching....with the 1.1 or 1.0bar chip...will i need a fpr? and since im running an MBC, do i turn it up, or do i hook it back up with the N75?
basically i need to know if i can run 20psi on the 1.1bar chip WITH my MBC, and without an FPR.
and does the chip basically just turn up the fuel so you can run past 1bar, or what exactly does the chip do?

You are clearly not putting any effort into investigating the stickies (those links that are always at the top of the page) and the search.
But
A chip modifies fuel mapping, boost, and timing. They can also raise the rev limiter andtake off the top speed governer.
Bar is another term for PSI or pressure: http://www.britishmetrics.com/html/pis-bar.htm
So if you get a 1.0 bar chip, you should adjust your mbc so the max boost you see onyour boost gaugeis about 15psi. Or you could just use the n75 and letit worry about controlling your boost. Its pretty much up to you. Most people dont use mbc's with a k03 chip because the n75 does fine by itself.Sometimespeople have problems with their n75 regulating boost and switch to a mbc. Most k03 chips dont require the use of an upgraded fpr. If it is required, the tuner will tell you or it will be in the product description for the chip.
Please use the search and read the stickies. If you just spent a day searching random things and browsing the stickies youll learn A LOT.

ok... thanks
so if i get the 1.0bar i cant go above 15psi?....im already running 14psi...why would i need a chip if im already running the psi it will allow me to? what if i want something like 18-20psi?

Oh my goodness! Are you really asking this???? [sm=wtf.gif] Hold on, let me look up the other posts where we tell you WHY you can't run 14 PSI w/out a chip... I will be back in a sec...
I can't believe I am even doing this!

You are now but wait a year and when your piston rings are fried and other stuff happens you will be wishing you had turned it down! WHy do you think NO ONE else runs their car at 14 PSI without a chip??? If it was safe everyone would be doing it! Ever think of that???

well i plan on getting a chip within the next couple months anyways...
but please explain why this guy i know has the same year 1.8t(jetta) on 22psi with the stock 4bar fpr....he does have revo chip, but why are you saying i cant go above 14psi WITH a chip..
and he has had his car chipped for almost 3 years now. and on 22psi

buy a chip...get GIAC....spike at 22 and hold at 18 safely, all you need is a diverter valve...
I will not be surprised if you hear the dentists drill within the month....if you don't take care of your car it won't take care of you....
