installing APR chip

When installin the chip i have to disconnect the battery and ya i know about the radio ill have to redo and maybe the windows too, but i remember after people disconnecting the battery the car wouldnt start becasue it was in some kind of safe mode or something? i dont remember exactly..if that is the case please let me know before i do this so i can fix it

I didn't disconnect battery when I removed and reinstalled my ECU. Never heard of anyone's car not starting due to a safe mode - maybe your thinking about the radio safe mode?

o ok thanks guys...i could have sworn that people were getting on here saying how their cars wouldnt start after they disconnected the battery..but i searched and didnt see anything, so maybe it was just me

thanks..batter disconnect = not doing it
