Installing a chip

Greetings All - I have a 07 A4 Slline 3.2 quattro with 94,000 kms (55,000 miles) that I recently purchased and am considering a performance chip. Anybody here done it and if so, recommendations/warnings or advice would be appreciated. Thanks
