Default installing front license plate

I bought a 05 A4 6 months ago and have been driving around without a front plate and got a ticket last week so need to install front plate finally. I've got the bracket and plate, but am clueless on how to install. Can Ijust drill some holes or is it tricky in some way that won't be apparent until I've already made a mistake?Anyone install front braket/plate have any advice? Thanks,

make marks where bracket holes are, get a screw drill it where you made marks with enough presure to make a hole put the bracket on and put the plate on. or just take it to the dealer and they'll do it for u.

Do it carefully. You can take it to the dealer which is what I did but they charged me around 100 dollars which in my opinion was sooooo not worth it. Just make the marks take your time and do a good job.

Personally, I would just leave it off, but since you got a ticket for it, you have to show proof that the front plate is on.
