Hey im thinking about getting my girlfriend some yellow lights for her A4 fog lights. im wondering can i just get yellow bulbs or do i have to get lights. also how hard is it to install them? also what about a short throw how hard is that to install. i was quoted fourty dollars for install.

 

if its just bulbs then pop the fog out and twist the thing then insert bulb in place of old one.

 

i went all out befor, i got yellow bulbs and the yellow covers

luminicsbulbs.com sells pretty yellow bulbs for pretty cheap.

 

so what u are saying is that i can just pop of the lense and put the new yellow one in right?

 

if you have a B5 you basically pop off the little fog light cover unscrew two bolts (phillips) remove the housing, unclip the wire harness. unscrew the top of the assembly (lens) you'll see a small medal bracket holding the bulb inside. unclip that and pop out the bulb, DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS OF THE BULBS or they burn out really quick. insert new yellow bulbs and reverse order above.

 

why not just paint the lenses you can buy the proper paint for that??
