Hi

I need to get my instrument panel rebuilt as I have the standard DID fading issue. Unfortunately the only company I can find that can do it has a 3 to 5 day turn around time. Obviously this emasn I will be without a speedo etc for a week (considering the number of speed cameras on my commute that isn't a good idea). I can get hold of another instrument panel cheaply that I can use while mine gets rebuilt but it's the one with the individual lights rather than the DID. Does anyone know if this will work as it'd be an ideal interim measure for me.

Wait until you go on vacation for a week and have them do it. I'd be interested in who is rebuilding these. i have some thoughts about what the problem is, but I haven't found one I can operate on.
