whats a good intake should i go with cold air are just ram?

Evolution Motorsports (EVOMS) or Neuspeed's P-Flow. Carbarino (spelling) also makes one however its more expensive because it's all carbon fiber.

 

The carbon fiber one in my opinion is not worth the money. just get the cheap HKS intake and spend the money on some new floor mats or something

 

I just bought an EVO Motorsports one, list is like $250, but got it from Gimper last week. Still waiting on it, but will let you all know how it goes and take some pics.

 

so how are intakes on these cars? from what i have heard about my bros b5 passat(if any different) is that they just are not worth it until you start making some pretty decent numbers(250-270 whp) but up to those numbers the stock box with drop in was supposodly sufficient. what do you guys think?

 

Unless you own a 2.8 a new intake really is not necesary. 250-350 dollars can be better spend.
