Yes, it is the same engine. I wouldnt go on ebay though, I dont care how cheap it is! I would much rather go through a company and maybe get a discount, help if I needed it and a warranty. But thats just my 2 cents....

Goodluck,

Adam

Help/waranty with an intake???? Who gives a **** about that???
The vw 2.0t and audi 2.0t are pretty much the same, except vw is transversely mounted and audi (atleast the a4)is longitudinal. This may be a problem when fitting an aftermarket intake

Your gonna pay 300.00 dollars for that? Carbonio is the same price and you wont have to buy heat shields!

your also lucky most members here eat people that make intake threads! Congrats on the B7 GOOD CHOICE!

Yeah I'm sorry I am just getting into modding and I just spotted them. I searched the site for intake threads and there were tons of them but none about the my question. I guess I should just go with the carbonio intake considering it is a proven intake. I was just hoping to save some money by going with the ebay but if they are a terrible product I'd rather spend the extra 50 bucks and get the carbonio. Thanks for your help.

It is a proven intake to make more aggressive sound.... It does not provide any hp/tq gain.... If sound is what you want, get it... if you want more hp/tq, get an APR software + testpipe instead for b7.
