Intake system gives you the most bang for ur buck?
I was just reading eurotuner magazine and it says " as always, a decent intake system gives the best bang for your buck." But their talking about an s4...
I've read here that the stock intake system is as efficient as it could get...
I wonder if a decent intake system is really better then the stock one...
My car is a 98 1.8T a4

nope... not really
stock airbox is rated up to 300hp (from what ive heard), most people get aftermarket intakes to make the turbo / dv sound louder. if you do that you're prone to heat soak, so you might wanna build an extra heat shield to try and help out.

well, considering apr's stage 3 kit is designed to use the stock airbox...i believe that kit gives you three twenty sum whp...so no need to touch the box. unless you want the PSSSHSHHSHHHSSSHHHHH!!! BLOW OFF VALVE!! YAH!
