This intake worth the money?

Default This intake worth the money?

is this intake worth the extra money over the short ram ones on ebay (they cost like $30) if i was too put a heatshield on it?

I got an email from the guy selling it and he said it is just a short ram with dual heat shields. Do u need dual heatshields? So can't i buy one of the short rams and put a heatsheils on it and get the same results?

You don't need dual heat shields, because you don't need a CAI either.

The stock airbox on the Audi is supposed to be pretty good. However, it you like the looks, then go for it.

so would u say to just get the short ram with a heat shield and K&N filter and i should be good? It may only give me a few hp but i really want the sound.

If you want the sound, just go for the short ram. Neither are going to give you much HP. Just make sure that you don't over-oil the filter.

indeed! over oiled k&n filters have been known to cause MAF sensor destruction.

i have a 2.8 so no boost. Do u guys think the one with dual heatshields will give me more hp than just a short ram with only one?
