I've already asked that....go to search and type in Intakes....the Carbino I think is better, but unless your chipped and have a better exhaust no difference will be noticed.

Are you talking about the neuspeed xtreme TIP, its a good, but you wont notice much, also, being silicone and being extremely large, it has the chance of collapsing. Just wondering, are you chipped yet?

carbonio looks cool, but as far as gains you'll see, you might get 1-2 hp..... I would go with another route... evoms sells a good intake and i'm expecting 10-15hp gains...

heheh....a friend of mine (lots of money) was just curious how much power he would get off an upgraded intake on his 99 1.8tq auto and he dynoed it before and after putting it on. He actually LOST about 2hp to the wheels. I was LMAO.

So unless you are chipped.....maybe you should wait. Just something to think about.

hahahahaha are u kidding me u will see no hp gain with evom just better throttle response .. and better sound ... carbinio may gain a few horses cause it blocks the turbo heat so well

This topic has been beaten into the ground... the stock intake isnt terribly restrictive, and most aftermarket intakes do nothing, because you flow more air, but the air is much hotter. There is a DIY intake mod in the DIY section... check it out.

Are you kiddin me bro? Hard to believe you no little about such a popular topic and you already have 140 posts. Anyway, its not a big deal at all. Its just a ecu flash. Don't waste your money on a worthless intake. Put it towards the chip.
