Default Intalled Exhaust

So I just installed my high flow cat and full borla catback. The car os much quicker and man it sounds nice. Question though. If I'm in neutral or park and I rev you can hear the exhaust popping a bit but not when you are driving. Is this normal??

It pops due to the fact you have decreased the back pressure to the point the intake side isn't keeping up when you rev it without a load on in and let off the gas quickly. You could get new piping before the motor (tb hose, intake hose ect) to improve flow and it would help but the poping is normal in that situation and will not damage anything, technically it is just backfiring.

Alright cool. Another question driving slow around 1800-2000rpm there is a loud vibrating noise when I ease on the gas. It only happens around there. If I floor it or drive with some moderate acceleration you don't hear it. But driving the speed limit you can sometimes hear it even betweeen shifts. Normal? Any ideas if its not?

scratch that is also does it if i rev it up to about 6 or 7. I have no idea what it is but the vibrations feel like they are coming frim under the car like right next to me. I do know that my old gaskets were bad and when I got my exhaust done they used a smaller gasket to attach my exhaust to the highflow cat. The holse lined up but it did not go all the way to the ends of the flange. Could this be the cause of my problem if it is a problem. Like I said the exhaust sounds beatiful, I sound stock till I get on it then she roars. But slow at 2000rpm or reving at 6 or 7 weird vibrations.

Maybe the exhaust is just vibing on the body or some other part of the car. Hop under and check it out.

Anyway annoying vibrating aside, the exhaust and hogh flow cat made quite a noticeable difference in acceleration. The pull is also wonderfull. I'll post some vids later this week.
