2002 A4 3.0 Stock engine! But even being stock how can this be! God i am soo mad i really just want to get a 1.8T and mod the hell out of it!

My cuz had a 94 GSR and we could hang with any Boxter that wanted to go in high speed turns. The suspension was tweeked so well over years of changing its set up. A ton of mods like NSX brakes and all kinds of stuff but engine was stock internallyjust Intake, full exaust headers to tip, MSD ignition, Adj Cam Gears with tweeked timing,light flywheel.Nothing to crazyliked forced induction. With just those few power mods that car was really fast. And in a tunnel at 7500RPM's it sounded insane.

 

I am not sure what it was, we were on the highway, im sure he had mods, i heard the intake and exhaust for sure. He flew up along side of me and we both took off.. from about 60mph, i had no chance, he just took off a few car lengths

 

I wouldn't worry about it, at the end of the day you are going home in a much nicer car.

 

i agree, also the integraour caris lighter than your car. One simple mod honda owners do is the vtec controller which lets the vteck kick in a lot sooner. It does make it quicker and it gets loud as hell quicker with an intake... you can tell if its done by how loud the car is in lower rpm's

its not like the 3.0 is anything amazing, a chipped 1.8 would rape a 3.0
