Interesting problem with A4

Default Interesting problem with A4

This my what happen to my friend car.

He was driving on the road and car just died on him. he towed it, then jump the car and nothing. no lights, no dash lights, no click or clock nothing. do you guys know why ? I wanted to look with vag-com but since there is no power, I cannot... check the fuse on the side of the steering wheel and they are all fine too.

any ideas ?

Check the battery connections and see if the battery is leaking. Check all the power connections. Also take a look around the alternator.

Must be a battery or alternator problem. Did your friend notice anything distinctive befrore it completely died? Like loss of radio reception or power window funtionality, or lights dimming??? Sounds freaky. Try to jump it....

Switch out the battery for one from another car and try. Check the ground connection and main power connection.

If the interior lights work and nothing else check the ignition switch.
