Interior help
well what i thought was a simple job opend a can of worms.
So a while back come change fell behinde my ashtray. No biggy I thought and today went to remove it and get the change out, and stop the horrible chingling noise.
Poped the wood around the gear stick (by the way this is a 2003, A4 3.0 Cab) 2 bols to remove th ashtray and thats all i can see i needed to do... however it now seems the center console needs to be removed.... Im not willing to do that as I really dont have the time.
So I pop everything back in. took a while as the ashtray didnt want to sit just right. After some fidelig i seem to ahve got it all. Then shock horror. I place the wood pannel back around the gear stick and oh shizzle! not a nice fit the front of it (CD player end) it not sitting in right and now what was a ncie flowing interior seems to be more like a KIA for now... Can anyone help with this. Its not super bad but im a perfectionist when it comes to fit and how it should be.
Im guessing the ashtray is not sat in right and that in turn is putting the rest out of whack. Any ideas????
