trust me, just get a forge or bailey DV.

or at least just get a cheap 710N, it's 1/6th the price of the R1 and it's more reliable for what i have seen in the last few years

i don't understand why people keep getting the R1.. i have heard of at least 20 cases since it's release of failure..

anywhere from BT applicatoins to people running one on just chipped cars.

they fail! get a Forge or Bailey.. or if you're still running a k03, just get a 710N
People buy them because they are garenteed not to tear and a diaphram is far better in performance than a piston valve. The only thing a piston has over the diaphram is durability.. Plus people are obsesed with apr. The "failures" you have seen are that some got sent out withto weak of a spring. Apr has taken all of them back and replaced the spring and then the problem is fixed.

Easiest way to see if you have a bad dv, take the lid off your airbox. If it sounds like a raped goose, ITS DEAD.
