Default Intresing Problem...

hey guys, yes my audi has yet another problem, this time, not so common.

when i tried to start my car this morning, i push in the cluch all the way, and turn the key, and the starter motor did not turn over. i had to kick the cluch a few times to get it to start, is almost as if the sensor that sees if the cluch is all the way down is loose or on the fritz...

can sombody tell me where the sensor is, or what else the problem could be?

any help appreiciated, i lost sleep over it last night... haha

Some dude sat out in the street in front of my office for like 2 hours once not being able to get his truck to start just as you described. He was checking the battery, trying to get a jump start, etc. and then I walked out there for a second to take a look and it turned out his floor mat was bunched up a little and he couldn't push the clutch all the way down . It's happened to me a few times too but with me it's almost always been something (a coke bottle, etc.) under the clutch, not the sensor or battery or whatever. Check for obstructions first.
