inverval wipers

i dont understand what that little switch is on top of the wiper blader stick. i turnit back and forth when the wipers are on and it doesnt do anything?

all the way left means slow intervals, all the way to the right means fast intervals.

thats what i thought the clicking op of the **** was for. whats the diffrence between swiching the switch and not putting it on a higher speed.

in order for the intervals to work you have to put the whole wiper blade stick up one notch. so you have off.. and then to make it work you put it on the one above off. then set the interval to whatever you want.
