the guy who started that thread is looking for the same thing, but for a zune, and his car is a 2000. your only option is one of the fm-transmitter things I think.

yeah thats what reminded me that i was looking for something similar lol

i've searched on like 3 audi forums and couldn't find info about either my speakers, nor an ipod connection.. i'm not looking for anything fancy, i just want a direct connection into the stereo possibly using the cd changer wire, as opposed to using a cassette adapter like i am now.. and i'd rather avoid using an fm transmiter, i've never been a fan of those.

the fm transmitters have actually come a long way... but you get what you pay for with them. be prepared to spend close to a hundred bucks, and you'll have good sound quality. pick one up at walmart, and well, you'll get what you pay for.

dunno if there's a way to do it with the cd changer wire. I'd expect there to be a DIY for it if it was doable, or at least a mention of it in a thread somewhere either on here, AZ, or AW.

i hate the FM transmitters... all of them ive tried a couple of them. they suck. sense i have a tape deck, i just use the tape deal and hook it to my ipod.. turn up the ipod to about 75% volume and you get amazing sounds quality
