Ok here is the deal..i have a 99 a4 and i ended up putting my 20 gb click wheel ipod into the car using dension ice link plus.

It worked ok, was a bit slow....and the ipod froze every 10 min. So i tried to update the firmware...everthing was going well and then all of a sudden the icelink stopped working...it just cut off and all i could hear was the radio...i try pressing the mode button but that didnt work. So now what?

Is there anything I can do with the ice link?
Should I invest in some other ipod interface?

What interface will I be able to use without my ipod freezing every 10 min...I need someting affordable and reliable...any help would be awesome.

 

any options for those of you who have an ipod in their car...i want a reliable interace that doesnt freeze my ipod...any suggestions would help greatly..as my cd changer doesnt work anymore.

 

I have my ipod hooked up directly to my Alpine CDA-9856 receiever. Works great. Never freezes.

 

i have the factory bose head unit.. and i cant directly connect it.

 

ok i know people have an ipod in their car i just need help finding out which one i should use....help me out people tell me what has worked best for you in terms of an ipod interface. HELP PLEASE!!!!
