Hi,

This S-Line has given me no end of problems, however this time it seems a dodgy mechanic is to blame.

I have posted previously about Coolant leak issues which were resolved by Head gasket, cylinder, water pump, thermostat (twice), etc replacement.

However the mechanic which fitted the cylinder head has failed to do the job properly it would appear from the video Audi diagnostics have just sent me.

Nothing else is showing up from the cars computer based diagnostics so is this likely to be the issue it is not starting easily? The car randomly either starts firth time or chugs away for several seconds.

Also in peoples experience what would it cost to have the parts replaced by an independent garage because Audi want 1K!!! to do it.

Any info on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
