Default issues with 97 a4 2.6 auto

Hi guys

Great forum

i just picked myself up a 97 AUTO A4 2.6 v6 thats travelled 300,000kms and just trying to fix a couple of issues.
Everytime i start the car or turn on the ignition without starting, the word "oil" comes up on the trip meter screen in orange writing. Ive checked out level and thats fine.Once you start driving the trip meter comes back instead

The other thing is the car seems to take a while to reach 90degress engine temp which is normal. However if im heavy trafic this creeps up to 115degrees and teh thermo fan doesnt seem to kick in until about 110 degrees. When it gets this hot i can hear hissing from the overflow coolant tank. There is no oil in the water or water in the oil. Coolant and coolant tank look brand new as car was impeccably serviced by an audi specialist beforehand. Not sure if its thermo fan switch or thermostat maybe. If its the switch does anybody know where it is?
Also thermostat, i know where it is but does timing belt have to come off to replace? if i do i may as well order a timing belt kit while im at it

The last problem i have is i seem to have an oil leak at the top end , it seems to be coming from near the intake manifold somewhere up top and oil seems to pool in that area under the intake manifold (between both heads). The rocker cover gaskets arent leaking so what next , do i remove the intake manifold and have a look?

Any input would be greatly appreciated guys!!
